As the Alamance District continues its focus on serving more Scouts in Alamance County in a quality way, we are happy to announce that starting in 2018 all district event patches will be designed by our Scouts for of Scouts.  This unanimous District Committee decision continues to allow our Scouts to personally and professionally take on a project under committee supervision, follow directions, be creative, make deadlines and take an active part in the program they are receiving.
The 2018 district events that will have patches designed by Scouts are as follows: Cub Scout Twilight Camp, Alamance District Merit Badge College, Fall Family Encampment, Boy Scout Camp-O-Ree.    Please promote this to any and all Scouts in the Alamance District, and if you know a Scout that would enjoy a design project like this contact a member of the district committee or the Alamance District Executive Jim Allegretto at jim.allegretto@scouting.org.
