          FACILITIES

Located southwest of Yanceyville, NC, Camp Cherokee offers Boy Scout units an exciting long-term camping experience. At Camp Cherokee units stay in individual campsites under their own leadership. Each campsite has access to running water and latrines. Meals are served in the centrally located dining hall and hot showers are available in the shower house. Boys will enjoy Camp Cherokee's fun and challenging programs including a COPE course, swimming, boating, riflery, archery, pioneering, Scoutcraft, conservation and nature studies and many others. The exciting variety of activities gives boys the perfect opportunity to earn merit badges and explore new challenges. Camp Cherokee is also available for weekend camping year-round.
