The 2010 Cherokee District Spring Camporee will take place April 9th, 10th & 11th at Farris Memorial Park in Mayodan. The park is located one mile north of Mayodan off of Ayersville Road. The Camporee will be a celebration of the 100th Year of Scouting.
Pre-registration is $8.00 per person prior to March 26, 2010. The method(s) for registration are as follows: Troops may register participants; On-line at the ONSC website (www.bsaonsc.org), Mail-in to the ONSC Office, or on-site at the ONSC Office.
Late Registration:
This will be a Camporee to remember, we want all scouts, scouters and friends of scouting to be a part of this great event. To cover the costs of the meal and use of the park we must charge $10.00 each for those that register the day of the Camporee. If we run out of patches we will place a second order to make sure everyone gets a patch, you will be included in the Saturday night “Pig Pickin” and Birthday party , along with all the events of the weekend.

Troop Leaders are reminded to secure permission slips and Medical forms for each scout that attends. A Local Tour permit should be submitted to the Council Office for approval. Troop leaders should be prepared to turn-in their paperwork at Check-in Friday night.
