On Sunday the third of May, Randolph District celebrated an awe inspiring Court of Honor at the Central Methodist Church in Asheboro. Eight Scouts from two different Troops all received their Eagle Scout Award together. As far as the knowledge of the attendees, this was the largest Eagle Scout Ceremony known to Randolph District. What is even more amazing than the amount of Eagle Scouts being honored today is the fact that many of them came up from Cubs to Scouts together. It has been a long journey for these young men and they, along with all other Eagle Scouts in the District deserve a mighty applause.

Trail Magic
Randolph District Boy Scouts had an amazing Spring Camporee on the primitive side of Woodfield the last weekend in April. A huge thank you is deserved to Ray Hudson and his Scouts for planning the event. Months of planning and hours spent hiking through the forest at Woodfield culminated in a new, nearly two mile long trail for the Boy Scouts here in Old North State Council to enjoy. In the heat of the Saturday sun our Troops, led by Troop 532 blazed the new path, marking it with blue paint. This backpacking style camporee was a huge success, thank you to all who participated!
