bulletThe Old North State Council is excited to welcome girls into Cub Scouting this fall! Visit this website to get useful information for your Pack to “Be Prepared!”

Our Council is committed to providing the highest level communication and resources to support your Pack (and Chartered Organization/Scouting Sponsor) in delivering a quality program to elementary school-aged youth this fall. Be on the lookout for further communication via Facebook, email blasts, and letters in the months ahead as we approach the 2018-2019 school year and the official launch of the new Cub Scouting Family Program.
Remember, current and future Chartered Organizations/Scouting Sponsors will have three options to select from when delivering their youth programs:
1) all-boy dens and packs ‘Or’ 2) all-girl dens and packs ‘Or’ 3) packs made of boy dens and girl dens

bullet View this short video (below) from Scout Executive Ed Martin about our upcoming Spring events.

As a Council, our goal is to support unit-level (Cub Pack, Scout Troop, Venturing Crews and Explorer Post) programs by offering quality council and district outings for Scouts, families, and leaders. For more information about the events highlighted in the video (along with other future events and volunteer trainings), please visit our Council Calendar.   Other helpful communication resources include our website:, our Facebook page:  and our E-List (click here to subscribe)
