Tsoiotsi Tsogalii High Adventure Campership

The Lodge provides campership funds to encourage participation at the National Jamboree, Philmont, Northern Tier, Seabase, or the National Order of the Arrow Conference. Two camperships of 50%, up to $500, of the total cost of participation may be awarded each year.

Active Brotherhood members of the Lodge who are age 18 or under may apply for a campership to attend a High Adventure Activity by completing an application which are available at the Council Office. Applications are due by May 1st of the year that the Arrowman wishes to attend the event. An Arrowman may be awarded a campership only once every two years.

Campership applications will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the Lodge Executive Committee and camperships awarded will be based upon need and future potential as an Arrowman.

The Bruce Gray Philmont Scholarship

Scholarships are made available by the Bruce Gray Philmont Scholarship fund. Scholarships are made available annually and are used to cover the cost in attending Philmont for any Scout that is not financially able to attend. Scholarship does not cover equipment or training weekends the Scout needs to participate in.

The applicant must:

Be currently registered in the Boy Scouts of America.
Meet all age requirements required by Philmont Scout Ranch.
Have demonstrated leadership ability in Scouting and a strong record of participation in activities outside Scouting.
Have the endorsement of a Scout leader who knows the applicant personally.
The Scout must have a financial need and would otherwise be unable to attend Philmont without the scholarship.
Write a short essay of at least one to three typed pages explaining why he wants to attend Philmont
Applications are due by May 1st, the year before the Scout wants to attend Philmont. They are available at the Council Office.

The Ben T Ward Eagle Scout Philmont Scholarship

Scholarships of $1000 are made available by the Ben T Ward Eagle Scout Philmont Scholarship fund. Scholarships (3 per year) are made available annually and are used to cover the cost involved in attending Philmont.

The applicant must:

Be currently registered in the Boy Scouts of America.
Have been granted the Eagle Scout Award and be a member of the Eagle class in the year prior to the Council Philmont Trek.
Meet all age requirements required by Philmont Scout Ranch.
Have demonstrated leadership ability in Scouting and a strong record of participation in activities outside Scouting.
Have the endorsement of a Scout leader who knows the applicant personally.
Write a short essay of at least one to three typed pages explaining what it means to be an Eagle Scout.
Applications are due by September 15th, the year before the Scout wants to attend Philmont. They are available at the Council Office.
