The program at Woodfield Scout Preservation is built around the Activity Pin and Belt Loop programs. These are achievements that are best suited for a camp setting. Each Webelos will have the opportunity to work on three Activity Pins while at camp. In addition, there will be many opportunities and special events to complete other requirements for belt loops and awards. It is the responsibility of the pack to purchase advancement earned at camp.
ACTIVITY PINS
Activity
Pins are offered during three (3) Activity Sessions each morning after
breakfast. Webelos will participate in the same Activity Pin Sessions each
day. Each Pack or Den may choose three Activity Pins that their boys would like
to earn. Use the Camp Advancement Form to request the Activity Pins for your
Pack or Den. The following Activity Pins will be offered at Webelos Camp:

Aquanaut Naturalist Forester Craftsman

There are three program periods each day that begin after lunch. Program activities are based on theme or Belt Loop activities. Each Pack can choose the program activities, nine (9) total, that the Pack would like to participate in. Use the Camp Advancement Form to schedule these activities for your Pack or Den. A Pack may repeat an activity up to three times. All Packs are encouraged to participate in as many different activities as possible. If you have more than one den attending camp it is better to sign up for different schedules and form smaller groups. The following program activities will be offered at Webelos Camp:

PROGRAM HELPFUL HINTS
Activity Pins (after breakfast)
Aquanaut – Taught at the pool and lake. Aquanaut is
to strengthen swimming skills, not to teach how to swim.
Non-Swimmers can learn basic swimming skills, but will not complete Aquanaut.
Scout Craft – Taught at the Webelos Shelter. Pins will include Outdoorsman and Readyman.
Ecology – Taught at the Nature Shelter. Pins will include Naturalist, Forester, and Geologist.
Design Center – Taught at the Shelter below Dining Hall. Pins will include Engineer and Showman.
Program Periods (after lunch)
Swimming Belt Loop - Scouts and adults must have completed a swim-test before swimming.
Boating – Scouts and adults must have completed a swim-test before boating.
BB & Archery Belt Loop – Taught at range “B” which is towards the boating lake.
Fishing Belt Loop – Scouts must bring a fishing pole.
Disk Golf (Ultimate Belt
Loop) – Complete a course of nine (9) holes that starts and finishes around
the Dining Hall.
Art Belt Loop – Learn the basics of design and color. Projects include making paper, silk-screening, and drawing.
Map & Compass Belt Loop – Scouts will learn basic compass use, map reading, map symbols, and measuring your pace.
Stuntman (Climbing Wall &
Teamwork games) – Test your skill on the 40 foot bouldering wall (climb side to
side).
Use teamwork to overcome challenging and fun games.
Mountain Bike – This
activity will be done in two periods (A-B, B-C). Scouts and leaders must bring
their own bike
with helmet that is suitable for riding on rugged terrain. All bikes will be
kept in a secure location upon arrival at camp
and not in campsites. No scout or leader will be permitted to ride a bike
without a helmet. A staff member will lead
your group during this program time.
Den Time – This is down
time for your pack or den. Take time to relax in your campsite, walk a trail,
check-out games
at the Trading Post, practice your skit for the Wednesday campfire,
or shop at the Trading Post. This is not free time to
go to program areas.
