Welcome to Woodfield...Headquarters for Woodfield Scout Preservation

So as you can see from the pictures, we have a ton of fun things for you to do at camp! We have an Indian Village with Tee Pees, a Pirate Ship to play on, a Fort to play in, a beautiful Swimming Pool, a new BB & Archery Range, Boating and Fishing on the lake, Fantastic Food in the Dining Hall, Great Campfires in the Council Ring, Handicraft activities, Nature Activities, and lots, lots more! Need more proof? Check out these Webelos Scouts having a blast this past summer (Place mousepointer over picture for a caption): Archery is a very popular activity with the Scouts... You just can't beat a day at the pool on a hot day! Scouts love to shoot BBs at our new BB & Archery Range... Paddling a canoe on one of our lakes is lots of fun too...









The Geologist Activity Pin is taught at the Fort. The Trading Post is a popular place to get your souvenirs and snacks. How about a game of Marbles? Handicrafts are also a fun part of Woodfield...

Camp Fees
2008

The fee for this year's Summer Camp program is $140.00 per Webelos Scout registered through the Old North State Council. For Scouts registered in other councils, the camp fee is $160.00. The Unit must make a $50.00 deposit to reserve the week that the Pack wants. An estimate of the number attending (bed count) is needed at the time the deposit is made.

Camper Early Deposit
Each Webelos Scout who has paid at least $65.00 of his camp fee by April 25 will receive a special patch and coupon to use in the trading post. This $65.00 deposit is non-refundable, but is transferable.  Failure to pay by April 25 could result in loss of guaranteed tents.

Leader's Fee

To show our appreciation to our adult leaders for the service that they do for us and the boys they lead, we will waive camp leader's fees based on the following scale:

Number of Scouts in camp from your Unit

Number of free leaders

1-4 Webelos

5-10 Webelos

3

11-15 Webelos

4

16-20 Webelos

5

One free leader will be allowed for each 4 additional Webelos exceeding 20. There must be two leaders in camp at all times. Any additional leaders staying during the week will be charged $ 50.00 for meals or on a per meal basis (Breakfast: $4.00 Lunch or Supper: $5.00).
