Check-in begins at 2:00pm and runs through 3:00pm on Sunday afternoon. You should plan your arrival accordingly. DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 2:00PM. PLAN TO ARRIVE AT CAMP AND CHECK-IN AS A PACK. YOU MUST CHECK-IN AT THE OFFICE BEFORE GOING TO YOUR CAMPSITE.

The Pack will be greeted by a Camp Staff Guide upon arrival at camp. One leader will go into the Headquarters Building to check-in the Pack. The Camp Staff Guide and the second leader will take the Scouts to the medical recheck. THE SECOND LEADER NEEDS ALL MEDICAL FORMS IN ORDER TO TAKE THE SCOUTS TO THE MEDICAL RECHECK. EVERY SCOUT AND ADULT MUST HAVE A HEALTH FORM SIGNED BY A DOCTOR AND A PARENT OR GUARDIAN.

No one will be allowed to unload at the campsite until a pack leader and the Camp Staff Guide have inspected the tents and tarps in that campsite.   Two vehicles per unit can be loaded with equipment and unloaded at the campsite and returned to the parking lot.   All vehicles must be parked in the central camp parking lot.

At check-in, the Webelos leader will need the following:

• A completed pack Roster
• Copy of receipts for payment of early registration
• Copy of campership agreement forms with confirmations
• Be prepared to pay for additional leaders siblings, or Den Chiefs.
• Checks should be made out to Old North State Council

Once at your site the Scouts and leaders should:

• Line up for medical re-checks (have medical forms ready)
• Leader and Camp Staff Guide should inspect tents and tarps
• Place gear in their tents (Do not unpack yet)
• Change into their swimsuits for swim test
• Go with Camp Staff Guide to swim test and camp tour

The tour will include:

• Health Lodge
• Dining Hall (Seating and waiter duty information)
• Trading Post (There will be time later to shop)
• Flagpole (Assembly area, show where your Pack will stand)
• Camp Showers (see duty roster for the day your pack cleans)
• Swimming pool (See where to hang buddy tags, take swim classification)
• Program areas

Any Webelos or adult participating in swimming or boating is required to have a swim test.   All buddy tags should be left in the designated area on the check-out board at the pool and lake.

After the camp tour, the pack will return to the campsite, continue to unpack and set up camp. Each Scout and leader should change into Class “A” uniform for flag lowering and supper.

There will be a meeting with one pack leader and key staff at 5:00 p.m. at the Headquarters Building.  The flag lowering ceremony at the flagpole is at 6:20 p.m. The entire camp should be present. Supper will be served at 6:30 p.m. Vespers will be held directly after dismissal from supper. The opening campfire will be held at 8:30 p.m. at the Council Ring.  The entire camp should meet at the flagpole at 8:15 p.m. in Class “A” uniform.  Taps and lights out will be at 10:00 p.m. each evening.
